Job summary

Wingate Living is hiring a Dining Room Server for One Wingate East. The role covers designated dining duties, cleaning routines, and serving residents under the direction of the Executive Chef.

This full-time position includes weekend shifts and a benefits package including 401K and health, dental, and vision insurance. The successful candidate will perform assigned dining tasks, maintain cleanliness, assist with beverage service, and ensure compliance with infection control and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions and work assignments is required.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Executive Chef.
• Follow cleaning duties as scheduled; assist in cleaning dining room areas after meals and events.
• Set up the dining room and serve residents per established standards.
• Report supply, equipment, or safety issues to management.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Follow safety codes and infection control procedures.
• Perform duties efficiently within allotted time.
• Comply with state and federal regulations including infection control and fire safety.
• Support resident-centered care and Five Star service objectives.
• Adhere to company policies and standards of conduct.
• Understand and follow the facility's emergency plans.
