The role emphasizes planning, organizing, and directing daily operations to meet health, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will hold an RD credential, have supervisory experience, and preferably 3+ years in Long-Term Care, with ability to manage budgets and coordinate

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Must have Supervisory and Management experience.
• Minimum of three years Long-Term Care work experience preferred.
• Must create budgets and ensure the facilities meets health and safety code requirements.
• Must be able to coordinate dietary services with nursing and other departments to develop diet plans for residents.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must maintain the confidentiality of the residents, comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of facility Dietary departments in accordance with current federal, state and local standards.
• Coordinate dietary services and activities with nursing services and other departments.
• Develop diet plans for residents and ensure quality nutritional services on a daily basis.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary dietary departments.
