Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Center Square, PA is seeking a Lead Dietary Aide to ensure resident meals reflect approved diets and menu guidelines. Working under the Nutrition Services Manager, you will help prepare food, supervise service, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in food or healthcare, and ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Foster hospitality for residents and guests under the Nutrition Services Manager.
• Ensure accuracy of diets and meal service in manager's absence.
• Assist in preparing foods per therapeutic diets and menu guidelines.
• May perform short order cooking for meal service.
• Enforce policies and maintain safe food handling and sanitation.
