Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Lead Dietary Aide position.

In this role, you will be responsible for fostering an environment of hospitality for residents and guests under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager. Responsible for the accuracy of diets and meal service in the absence of the manager. Works alongside Dietitians, Managers, and Chefs to help prepare food for residents. Prepares and serves therapeutically correct diets while following established menu guidelines. May perform some short order cooking for meal service. Responsible for enforcing all policies and ensuring regulatory guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation are in place.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting
  • ServeSafe Certification (or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period)

Pay Range

$17.00 - $23.17 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
