Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Inwood, NY to service heavy‑duty vehicles. You’ll perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and major engine repairs while mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Heavy-duty diesel repair experience is preferred.
• Ability to read codes and perform diagnostics.
• Must have or obtain CDL-A within 6 months.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and report creation.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and train Technicians; provide daily customer service.
• Oversee parts distribution, shop reporting, and warranty recovery.
