Job summary

AKRS Equipment Solutions seeks a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair agricultural equipment and AMS products, while guiding technicians and apprentices in best practices. You’ll appraise repair orders and ensure accuracy, occasionally filling in for the Service Manager and approving equipment releases for delivery.

You will work with Service Center, document DTAC cases, and mentor peers, contributing to a team valued for integrity, teamwork, and customer success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of diesel mechanic/technician experience in service repairs.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on ag/turf equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and routine maintenance.
• Good computer skills and basic software literacy.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
• Assist in appraisal of repair orders for the Service Department.
• Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Direct and assist in diagnosing machine problems and mentor apprentices.
• Fill in for the Service Manager when absent.
• Approve release of equipment for delivery where appropriate.
• Support other technicians and share diagnostic expertise.
• Utilize Service Center and prepare DTAC cases; mentor peers on use.
• Serve as Lead Service Technician.
