First Student is hiring a Lead Diesel Technician in Clinton, MO to lead preventive maintenance programs, develop technicians, and streamline shop operations. You will diagnose, repair, and test vehicles, while guiding a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of diesel or automotive maintenance experience or technical school education.
• Experience in a lead technician, supervisor, or management role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain CDL with paid company training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex vehicle diagnostics and repairs; perform road tests when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of engines, emissions, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and HVAC systems.
