Performance Foodservice in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Lead Diesel Technician on the 3rd shift to mentor peers while handling major and minor repairs. You’ll diagnose road-test issues, perform preventive maintenance, and keep precise maintenance records.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and 5–7 years of truck/tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Experience with diagnostics and road testing a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on fleet diesel equipment.
• Use PFG tools to log and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and related components.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, battery checks, lubrication; adjust brakes; reassemble equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
