Clarke Power Services, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced diesel technician to join our team, performing maintenance and comprehensive repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and A/C.

The role emphasizes diag and repair, PMI on diesel equipment, and mentoring fellow technicians. Applicants should have at least 7 years of diesel experience and a diesel training credential preferred. We offer weekly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience.
• Certificate or Degree from Diesel Training Program preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record per criteria.

Join our team providing excellence in customer service and safety while providing fleet maintenance including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis.

• Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following duties:
• Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment.
• Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.
• Assist and lead other technicians

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following duties:

• Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.
• Assist and lead other technicians

PHYSICAL And SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Experience / Education

• Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience required
• Certificate or Degree from Diesel Training Program Preferred
