Job summary

Butler Machinery is seeking a self-motivated diesel service technician to join our service team across our four-state region. If you enjoy working with construction, agriculture or power generation equipment in a team environment, you will fit right in.

This full-time role pays $32.73/hr to $53.03/hr, DOE, with a $1.50/hour lead differential. Responsibilities include scheduling, troubleshooting, repairs, field support, safety, and keeping the shop tidy while delivering high-quality service to

Qualifications

• Technical degree in a mechanical related field or equivalent.
• Three years minimum mechanical experience; Caterpillar and AGCO preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling work in shop and field.
• Troubleshoot and repair all product lines.
• Charge out time to revenue work orders.
• Address safety issues in the shop.
• Maintain a clean, organized workplace.
• Assist field technicians with tooling and parts.
