Performance Food Group is hiring a Lead Diesel Technician in Temple, TX for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10pm–6:30am). The role involves leading by example, performing major and minor repairs, and conducting road tests to diagnose issues.
You will work independently under supervision, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and thorough documentation in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
The Lead Diesel Technician is a respected, experienced master technician. Sets an example and informally mentors others while learning under the manager. Trusted to work independently while doing major and minor repairs, performing road tests to diagnose problems, and completing maintenance tasks.
High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent Experience.
5-7 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
