Meridian Waste in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on waste pick-up trucks and support equipment. The successful candidate will ensure safety and service quality while completing necessary diagnostic tests and repairs.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, completing preventive maintenance, and leading a team of technicians. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics and excellent communication skills. ASE Diesel Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Ability to lead and assist technicians with repairs.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and maintenance on waste pick-up trucks.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition.
• Lead a group of technicians and assist with repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with repair team to diagnose vehicle problems.
