About the position

As a Lead Fleet Technician / Shop Foreman, you’ll schedule and perform maintenance on school bus fleets, diagnose complex problems, and maintain service records. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising technicians
• Generating work orders and tracking progress
• Maintaining knowledge of vehicle components for diagnostics and repairs
• Monitoring shop performance and implementing improvements

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain CDL (training provided)
• At least 5 years of automotive/diesel maintenance or technical school education
• Experience as a lead technician or supervisor preferred
• Mechanic’s tool set
• Willingness to participate in ASE certification; training, testing, and bonuses provided
• Subject to DOT drug testing; no use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana
