The Opportunity:

In this position, you will be responsible for the performance of manual and machine tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of die cut equipment to accurately produce product to customer specifications. Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Set up, operate and maintain Die Cutting machines in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload materials, change dies, and make necessary adjustments to the machines
  • Ensure that all materials meet customer specifications, including size, registration, creasing quality, and other die-cut specifications
  • Monitor production output and take corrective action when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members, including press operators and Team Lead/Manager
  • Stay current on industry trends, new technology, and best practices

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic Math skills required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Able to convert fractions to decimal equivalents
  • Basic understanding of Machinery & processes
  • Ability to read, write & understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, lead and provide direction to crew
  • Job requires making decisions based on established guidelines regarding running or shutting down on defective work and operational problems/difficulties of all kinds
  • Required to stand & walk continually
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling 20 to 50 lbs. (Up to 10 times an hour)
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling & reaching
