Job description

$10,000 sign on bonus for a two-year commitment with one year of experience or $15,000 with more than one year of experience.

In addition to performing imaging procedures at an advanced level, coordinates workflow, assists with projects and coordinates educational activities. Functions as a working technologist and distributes workload to ensure efficient operations. Rotates between two specialties.

This position will work dayshift with evening, weekend and call rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs all responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I and Advanced Diagnostic Tech II.
  • Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary.
  • Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced technologists and communicates results back to departmental leadership.
  • Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
  • Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
  • Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor.
  • *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned.
