Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is seeking a capable supervisor to manage the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department. You will oversee patient services, staffing, scheduling, finance and equipment while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations.

You will recruit, train, coach and evaluate staff, coordinate radiology workflows and drive performance improvement programs, maintaining high-quality imaging services for the community.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years' registered technologist experience preferred.
• Certification/licensure in ARRT, ARRT(CT)/MRI/M or ARDMS/NMTCB required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department.
• Ensure timely processing of patients while prioritizing emergent procedures.
• Direct RIS and PACS systems and maintain image/data integrity.
• Recruit, hire, train and evaluate imaging staff; ensure adequate staffing.
• Develop budgets and oversee department salary, operating and capital budgets.
• Research new technologies to increase productivity.
