Job summary

McAdams seeks a Land Development Engineering lead for the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area. You will build and sustain strong relationships with private developers, municipalities, and regional stakeholders while leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team delivering residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

You will drive operational excellence and business development aligned with McAdams’ strategic objectives.

Qualifications

12-20+ years of progressive experience in land development engineering.
Proven leadership delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Strong credibility with North Texas developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
Experience in business development and growing a regional practice.
Excellent communication, leadership presence, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic direction, vision, and growth of the DFW Land Development practice.
Build and sustain strong relationships with private developers, municipal partners, and regional stakeholders.
Oversee execution of large-scale, multi-disciplinary land development projects with strong project controls and financial performance.
Drive operational excellence, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management to ensure predictable outcomes.
Mentor staff and promote a collaborative, learning-focused environment for career development.
