Job summary

Modernizing Medicine seeks a Principal DFIR & Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead end-to-end cyber defense operations. You will own incident command, digital forensics, memory analysis, and malware investigations while guiding detection engineering and CTI efforts in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Based in Boca Raton, FL, the role requires weekend coverage (Thursday-Sunday) and close collaboration with Legal, Privacy, and executive leadership to ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, SOC, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
• 3+ years leading complex enterprise breach responses.
• Experience with AWS telemetry, container security, and CI/CD security.
• Ability to work a weekend schedule (Thu-Sun) and coordinate with Legal/Privacy.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end incident containment and post-incident analysis as Incident Commander.
• Sole weekend DFIR responder, owning incidents from detection to post-mortem delivery.
• Develop and tune detection logic, run multi-language queries (CQL/FQL/KQL/SQL).
• Monitor multi-region AWS footprint, container workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead regulatory breach determinations and coordinate with Legal and Privacy.
