Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD. The role focuses on automated pipelines, AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and security tooling in a hybrid Gaithersburg, MD environment with a Public Trust clearance requirement.

You will advance developer platforms, improve software delivery processes, and partner with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to raise deployment reliability and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 2+ years acceptable.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, Python, and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and Kubernetes clusters for enterprise apps.
• Develop IaC with Terraform and containerized environments with Docker.
• Automate deployment and security controls within the SDLC.
• Support software supply chain security including SBOM, Sigstore, and SLSA.
