Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join the Air Traffic Business Area, building the L-CAP platform in a hybrid Cloud environment. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, IaC with Terraform, and embed security into the delivery lifecycle, while aligning with SAFe/Agile practices.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a Public Trust, and a hybrid work arrangement (3 onsite, 2 remote within commuting distance of Gaithersburg, MD; Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience or Master's with 2+ years.
• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with modern tools.
• Hands-on Kubernetes cluster management and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and container tech.
• Experience with security scanning tools and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous integration, testing, and delivery.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for platform deployments.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform for repeatable environments.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools into pipelines for shift-left security.
• Manage container images, registries, and deployment artifacts across environments.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management tasks.
• Ensure consistent development, test, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for observability.
• Collaborate with teams to improve build times and deployment frequency.
• Support incident response and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Support software supply chain security controls including SBOM generation.
