Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, DevOps to drive a portfolio of diverse projects and lead a team of engineers focused on machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems. You will mentor peers, stay current with tech trends and engage with communities while delivering robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers.

You will work with Java, Python, SQL, Ruby and Go, plus Docker and Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform, and a broad set of AWS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years DevOps experience (internships excluded).
• 3+ years cloud-native tech (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 4+ years Unix/Linux admin experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of tech projects and a dev team.
• Mentor engineers and share new tech trends.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Use Java, Python, SQL, Ruby/Go; manage Docker/Kubernetes; use Ansible/Terraform; leverage AWS tools.
