Job summary

IAMOPS is seeking a Sr DevOps/Lead DevOps Engineer to join our on-site team in Pune/Surat. You will design, implement and optimize scalable IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and production Linux/Windows ecosystems while collaborating with developers and infra teams to ensure highly available systems.

The role emphasizes automation, monitoring improvements, and best-practice processes, with a focus on on-prem and cloud deployments as part of a production operations environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP or multi-cloud.
• Kubernetes and Docker expertise; Python and Terraform scripting.
• Experience in Linux and Windows environments; software development background a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and centralized logging platforms (ELK, Zabbix, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Production-grade experience in scalable environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and scale production services across cloud/on-prem deployments.

About the job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr DevOps/Lead DevOps Engineer at IAMOPS | DevOps done right! in Pune and Surat. As a Sr DevOps/ Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and implementing scalable infrastructure, automating deployment processes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing system performance, and resolving incidents.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and scale production services across multiple environments over cloud/on-prem deployments.


• Cooperate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure highly available and scalable production systems.


• Communicate effectively with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.


• Provide training and documentation to teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and processes.


• Improving and enhancing our monitoring solutions.


• Defining methodology that supports internal teams' processes

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have hands on experience of 5+ years.


• Extensive hands‑on experience with multi cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP.


• Extensive hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Scripting skills in Python and Terraform.


• Extensive experience working both in Linux and Windows environments. Software development background Advantage.


• System monitoring and centralized logging platforms (ELK, Zabbix, Prometheus, OpenTelemtry).


• Vast experience in production environments.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Certifications in relevant DevOps technologies and cloud environment are a plus
