Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, auditable CI/CD pipelines
• Lead DevSecOps strategy, embedding security into every phase of delivery
• Manage cloud/hybrid environments (AWS GovCloud)
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code practices for traceability and compliance
• Collaborate across software, systems, and compliance teams
• Drive observability, monitoring, and incident response readiness
• Integrate with Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, Jira, Bamboo)

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or related field, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong experience in AWS GovCloud and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency with Bamboo Data Center, GitOps workflows, and IaC tools
• Skilled in Python, Java, and Bash
• Familiarity with aerospace or defense-grade standards (e.g. DO-178C, MISRA, CMMI)
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a U.S. Person
• Experience with embedded or real-time systems
• Background in aerospace or space-tech environments
• AWS certification
