Qualifications

• Prepare difficult or assist in the preparation of complex design, construction, and as-built drawings for structures.
• May act as a lead on less difficult projects in the preparation of plans.
• Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Structural Design Technician II exam.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Under general direction of an engineer and/or lead person, prepares difficult or assists in the preparation of complex design, construction, and as-built drawings for a variety of structures (concrete, steel, masonry, timber).
• Act as a lead on less difficult projects in the preparation of plans.
