Lead Design Weapons/Launchers System Integration Engineer - Washington, D.C.

Join Serco as a Lead Design Weapons/Launchers System Integration Engineer at the Washington Navy Yard, supporting the US Navy's submarine programs. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for design tasks related to the VIRGINIA Class Payload System and Launchers Systems, overseeing design lifecycle, supporting integration efforts, and leading technical teams to ensure effective system integration and upgrades. Your responsibilities include managing design changes, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Active or Current Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in submarine weapons systems, including design, operations, and testing
• Extensive knowledge of submarine weapon and payload systems
• Strong communication, technical writing, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
