Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Design Technologist to elevate the craft and scalability of our platform. You will lead through ideal-state prototypes, motion design, and tool development, bridging design and engineering to deliver intuitive, human experiences.

You will partner with product, engineering, and operations to translate forward-looking experiences, including AI-powered features, into scalable customer-facing solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in design technology, UX engineering, motion design, web development, or related field.
• Proven track record in pushing UI boundaries through experimentation and tool development.
• Experience integrating AI tools into design workflows to improve quality, speed, or exploration.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of tools that allows designers to create prototypes using real production components and customer data.
• Lead the development of principles, standards, scalable practices, frameworks, and libraries in prototypes and motion in service to design.
• Inspire, advise, provoke, and lead the organization through provocations and proofs of concept that show what's possible in the medium of UI code.
• Design experiences that make AI-powered features intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for a diverse range of users.
