Job summary

Hanwha Power seeks a seasoned CAD Drafter to lead product definition activities and mentor drafting staff in 3D parametric modeling, drawings, fits, clearances, and GD&T. You will build large engine assemblies and layouts, ensuring design intent and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, enforce ASME Y14.5 standards, review drawings for accuracy, and prepare documentation for release of product designs. Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-year Mechanical Drafting degree or 10 years minimum comparable experience.
• Experience with 3D CADD modeling (Creo and/or NX).
• Advanced knowledge of drafting standards (ASME Y14.5).
• Proficiency in drawing layout and presentation.
• Mentoring and coordinating product definition staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor product definition personnel in CAD and drawings.
• Calculate fits, clearances, and tolerances; apply GD&T.
• Ensure adherence to PSM product definition standards.
• Prepare documentation for releasing product designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize designs.
