Job summary

Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery in New York is seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant with Clinical Supervisor responsibilities for our Hudson Yards location. The role blends patient care with leadership across a two-floor clinic, including cosmetic dermatology and a forthcoming Longevity suite/cosmetic research institute.

You will oversee a team of medical assistants, ensure top-notch patient service, develop SOPs, and support expanding locations with the COO.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care in a dermatology setting.
• Experience with cosmetic dermatology procedures and patient flow.
• Leadership and supervision of clinical staff.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Dermatologist in all procedures/Cosmetic experience is a must.
• Managing clinical department fully (team of 9 MAs).
• Providing top-notch customer service and care to the patients.
• Phlebotomy.
• Inventory Management and Budgeting for it.
• Compiling medical records, prescriptions, PAs, clinical patient needs, and charts.
• Training MAs from scratch.
• Serving as a Liaison between Providers and Management.
• Developing and Implementing policies/SOPs.
• Launching additional locations with COO.
• Team player/pleasant personality/comfortable with constructive criticism/Organized/detail oriented/able to resolve conflicts and move on quickly.

Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery is hiring an Experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant/Clinical Supervisor for their location in Hudson Yards. Our office has now 2 floors where one of them is a mix of medical and cosmetic dermatology, and the second one which will be open in January is a Longevity suite/Cosmetic Research Institute. Our office is fast growing, pretty challenging to manage as it requires multi-tasking, easy adaptability to many changes at once but overall, we try to do all we can to have a very warm/friendly environment that encourages personal growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 3 years of medical assistant experience MUST.
• 1 year of Cosmetic dermatology experience required.
