Job summary

Cedar Mountain Dental in Newington, CT, is seeking a patient-focused Lead Dentist for a full-time role in a modern, fully digital environment. You’ll enjoy private-practice autonomy while benefiting from SDM educational resources, mentorship and a supportive team culture.

Deliver comprehensive care across general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, diagnose conditions, and develop clear treatment plans. Use iTero, intraoral cameras and Overjet to enhance communication and outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license and DEA registration (as required).
• GPR or AEGD preferred.
• Proven proficiency in general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative procedures.
• Endodontic, surgical and cosmetic dentistry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive general, cosmetic and restorative dental care—with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and operational partners for seamless, high-quality care.
• Leverage digital tools such as iTero, intraoral cameras One and Overjet to support accurate diagnosis and patient communication.
• Engage in continuing professional development through SDM’s clinician network and learning resources.
• Contribute to a team culture built on respect, integrity and growth.
