Job Title: Lead Dentist - Solo Practice

Location: Oak Hill Family Dental, 6012 W. William Cannon Dr., Building A, Ste 103, Austin, TX 78749

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Wednesday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Dentist to join our team. This is a solo practice with no associate dentist, offering a flexible transition plan due to the full retirement of our founding dentist, Dr. Russell Nelson.

About Us

Oak Hill Family Dental Center has been servicing the South Austin community since 1983. We provide all general dentistry services, including fillings, crowns, root canals, veneers, implant restorations, whitening, wisdom tooth extraction, dentures, and more, including invisible braces and other dental appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of dental services, including general, cosmetic, restorative, emergency, orthodontic, pediatric, and periodontic dentistry.
• Uphold our reputation for clinical excellence.
• Lead a team of dedicated professionals.
• Create a supportive and positive work environment.

Office Details

• High performing office with 6 operatories.
• Dedicated treatment chairs: 2-3, depending on preference.
• Dental Hygienist: 1, with room to add 1 more.
• Dental Assistants: 2.
• New Patients per Month: 15-20+.
• Equipment includes Digital x-ray, Digital Scanner, PMS Dentrix.
• Payer mix: FFS 60%, PPO 40%.
• Excellent Office Leadership and local support.
• Draw area: South Austin and Dripping Springs.
• Potential to earn in the 90th percentile for experienced dentists.

Minimum Requirements

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited US dental school or residency.
• Active Texas dental license prior to start.
• Active Federal DEA and applicable certifications.
• 5+ years of professional clinical experience.
