Qualifications

• CODA-accredited degree in dental hygiene is required.
• Alternative: bachelor’s in any field plus an associate degree in dental hygiene with 2+ years of experience.
• Virginia dental hygiene license and local anesthesia certification may be required.
• CPR/BLS certification by hire date is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach dental hygiene didactic, clinic and lab courses in various formats.
• Facilitate student learning and development activities toward success, retention and completion.
• Strengthen partnerships with K-12, higher ed, industry and community organizations.
