Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Dental Hygiene Program Director to lead the creation of a new program in the San Jose area. This leadership role oversees faculty, curriculum, accreditation readiness, and student outcomes, with occasional teaching duties.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or higher in a related field, CA RDH license, CODA credentials, and substantial clinical and teaching experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with relocation support and six-figure compensation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in dental hygiene or related field.
- RDH license in CA or state dentist license.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Infection Control & CA Dental Practice Act certifications.
- 2+ years clinical practice and 2+ years teaching in dental programs.
- Experience with CODA accreditation and curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise faculty and ensure qualifications meet standards.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
- Develop schedules, evaluate faculty, and conduct classroom observations.
- Oversee externships/clinicals and ensure curriculum alignment.
- Teach assigned courses as needed and assess student learning outcomes.
