Qualifications

• Master's degree required and RDH license
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required
• Infection Control and CA Dental Practice Act certifications required
• Minimum 2,000 hours direct patient care as an RDH
• Experience teaching in higher education or program management preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, faculty, outcomes, and accreditation for the Dental Hygiene program
• Manage faculty recruitment, evaluation, and professional development
• Develop clinical rotations and external partnerships
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and college policies
• Oversee student retention, progress, and licensure outcomes
• Organize advisory and curriculum review sessions and accreditation documentation
• Teach courses as needed and mentor students during clinicals
