Job summary

Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry seeks a Lead Dental Assistant to support residents, faculty, and students in the Periodontics Clinic. The role involves 4-handed dentistry, chairside assistance, and equipment upkeep within a hybrid work setting.

The candidate will help with patient scheduling, front desk duties, and emergency preparedness. Required are 1 year of Dental Assistant experience, a recognized Dental Assisting certificate, PA Radiology certification, and CPR.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Dental Assistant, including some periodontic procedures.
• Dental Assisting training and certificate from an accredited school.
• Dental Radiology Certification from PA.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to residents, faculty and students.
• Assist with routine and complex surgical procedures.
• Maintain and disinfect operatories and equipment.
• Take, process and mount digital X-Rays and manage patient flow.
