Summary:

The Lead Dental Assistant supports residents, faculty, and students in the Department of Endodontics at the School of Dentistry. Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, preparing treatment rooms, performing 4-handed dentistry, maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols, taking digital x-rays, managing supplies, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting front desk duties. The role may also include rotations to the Sedation Center and other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Minimum one year of dental assisting experience, including endodontic procedures, with certification from an accredited school, Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certification, and CPR certification. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

This position requires a background check and Child Abuse Certifications prior to starting. The role is on-site.
