Compensation: $23.75 - $33.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Train and coach all other dental assistants to ensure they perform to their best ability.
• Manage patient flow to maximize patient experience and create an efficient day for the dentist.
• Perform duties in accordance with applicable state’s dental allowable functions.
• Develop the dental assistant team through support of learning plans and expanding knowledge of clinical technology and skills.
• Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
• Manage infection control, sterilization, and disinfection processes in accordance with CDC guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and sterile workplace to ensure patient comfort and assist doctors.
• Maintain appropriate clinical supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
• Educate the team on basic maintenance procedures and ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and required training courses for certification, licensure, or registration as mandated by state (e.g., coronal polish, x-ray exposure).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret documents like manuals, safety rules, and regulations.
• Compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA).
• Leadership skills to direct others and work as a team leader.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
