Job summary

Hero Practice Services in Tulsa is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to optimize patient flow, deliver outstanding patient service, and monitor patient satisfaction. This at-will role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and commands a pay range of $22.50-$25.00 per hour.

The position requires EDDA/EFDA certification, radiology training, nitrous oxide administration experience, and strong supervision skills.

Qualifications

  • Active EDDA/EFDA certification that meets state requirements.
  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
  • Current BLS CPR certification.
  • Experience with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide.
  • Proficient with e-Clinical Works.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate proper oral hygiene and preventative care to the patient and family.
  • Assist in the development and training of dental assistants.
  • Hold all teammates accountable to meeting expectations in achieving our mission.
  • Support in the supervision of all clinical teammates to include training, directing work assignments, monitoring success and opportunities, supporting appraisal reviews and coaching conversations, addressing and resolving complaints.
  • Assist in protective stabilization dental cases with compassion.
  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to optimize patient flow, deliver outstanding patient service, and monitor patient satisfaction. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager. This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.

Pay range: $22.50-$25.00/hr

Job Responsibilities

Job Qualifications
  • Active EDDA/EFDA certification that meets state requirements
  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
  • Extensive experience working in a dental office
  • Proficient with e-Clinical Works a plus
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Experience with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide
  • Ability to understand and accurately record patient vitals
  • Experience with protective stabilization cases (i.e. head holding, hand holding)
