Qualifications

• US citizen with DoD clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree as stated; Master’s preferred; or 16 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to lead cross-department project teams across functions.
• Experience recruiting and hiring technical talent.
• Experience developing technical and cost inputs for proposals.
• Experience as Cost Account Manager using EVMS.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead software design and development processes from requirements through delivery.
• Drive best practices, and perform code and design reviews.
• Coordinate with software, electrical, and systems managers to optimize assignments.
• Establish development processes and standards to boost productivity.
• Mentor and coach engineers regarding career growth.
• Contribute to project development as needed.
• Perform engineer performance evaluations.
• Oversee recruitment interviews and hiring of engineers.
• Participate in proposal cost estimation and Basis of Estimate efforts.
• Manage matrix manpower allocation.
