Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Lead Decarbonization Engineer to provide senior-level technical leadership in electrical design for electrification projects across various sectors. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 7-10 years of relevant experience.

This role includes leading the preparation of IFC documents, conducting site assessments, and collaborating with clients to advance decarbonization goals. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and design tools is essential, as well as the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience delivering electrical power system design and assessments.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required in CA, WA, NY, or TX.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, ANSI and local standards.

• Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and provide recommendations.
