Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to guide a team, enforce SOPs, and uphold safety, quality, CMP and CPS policies. You will direct daily operations and support staff across shifts.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in Word and Excel, with a commitment to continuous improvement and a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 3 years' experience
• Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Change Agent, using appropriate modes of communication and overseeing change management, such as learning new skills, changes in customer or business needs, or shift changes and overtime.
• Use consistency and integrity in dealings with all employees, policy compliance, company relationships, and company data and performance.
• Drive retention by fostering morale and employee engagement.
• Champions a safety culture, ensures a safe work environment, and promotes safe behavior.
• Lead and drive safety culture and improvements to achieve a zero-incident environment.
• Monitors environment and becomes aware of conditions that may affect employee safety and security; takes corrective action.
• Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, job orders, and company policies.
• Lead improvement initiatives to increase through-put, reduce downtime, and reduce waste.
• Drive value creation by improving current systems and procedures and lead continuous improvement activities.
• Provide feedback to Logistics Manager - AHC concerning employee performance and behavior.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
