Job summary

La Petite Academy is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschoolers. You will mentor fellow teachers, promote growth in children, and take the lead on classroom management while ensuring licensing guidelines and company standards are followed.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with families and supporting the center’s success, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children and promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Lead classroom management, implement curriculum, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support center success.
