A local daycare center in Sugar Grove is looking for an experienced Lead Daycare Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, an AA degree or working towards one, and relevant experience in a licensed facility. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a licensed Early Childhood facility is required.
• Knowledge of NC Rules and Regulations is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out to maintain accurate attendance.
• Create weekly lesson plans promoting development.
• Supervise Assistants and Floaters in the classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Skills

Experience in Early Childhood Education

CPR and First Aid certification

Nurturing and patient demeanor

Effective communication with parents

Education

AA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Bachelor's degree preferred
