Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Data Engineer in Los Angeles to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks and cloud-native technologies. You will mentor engineers, lead ingestion initiatives, and collaborate with product and analytics teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

You will work with Databricks Native Data Loader, Lakeflow Connect, Delta Lake, and migrations from Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server, shaping enterprise data architecture and governance in a hybrid

Qualifications

Experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

Design enterprise-scale data ingestion frameworks using Databricks-native tooling.
Build batch and streaming pipelines from Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, APIs and other sources.
Lead architectural decisions on ingestion, storage, processing and governance.
Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
