A leading technology firm located in Maryland seeks an experienced Database Engineer to provide technical expertise in database design and development. Candidates should have at least ten years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. A current TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position, along with experience in PostgreSQL. This role includes responsibilities such as supporting database implementation and leading database structure development.

Qualifications

• Ten years experience as a Database Engineer required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph required.
• DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IAT Level II required.

Responsibilities

• Support database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval.
• Lead the development of database structures fitting into system architecture.
• Direct fulfillment of project requirements from inception to conclusion.

Skills

Expertise in database design

Knowledge of PostgreSQL

Experience with information assurance

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
