Job summary

KLS Martin Group seeks a senior data engineering professional to design, implement, and optimize a scalable data warehouse. You will develop dimensional models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and security across large datasets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor teammates, and drive best practices in data architecture and analytics. Strong SQL, cloud data platforms, and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or software engineering with a focus on data warehouse design.
• Proven experience designing dimensional models (star/snowflake) for enterprise-scale data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development using tools like dbt, Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or custom data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data processing for large-scale analytics.

Responsibilities

• Data Warehouse Design & Architecture: lead end-to-end design of scalable, high-performance warehouse.
• Dimensional Modeling & Data Modeling: develop star and snowflake schemas and BI-ready models.
• ETL/ELT Development & Data Pipelines: build scalable pipelines for batch and real-time data ingestion and transformation.
• Data Governance, Quality, and Security: implement RBAC, metadata, lineage, data quality, and compliance controls.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: index, partition, cache, and tune queries for large datasets.
