Job summary

ISN is seeking a Team Lead – Data Warehouse & Decision Support to guide technical direction and oversee the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of the data warehouse, ETL, and data estate. This role combines leadership with hands-on data engineering using Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and Python.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering and data warehousing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or project leadership experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Python.
• Experience with Databricks and Fabric Lakehouse architectures.
• Proficient Python for data engineering and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the data warehouse, ETL environment, and semantic/reporting layers.
• Design and lead adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SQL Server for data workloads.
• Partner with architecture, operations, governance, security, and platform teams for compliance and cost control.
• Write and review complex SQL and pipeline code; review major data model changes.
• Evaluate applying AI/LLMs to data engineering workflows and guide team adoption.
