Title: Lead Data Scientist (Consumer Credit Risk) – B2C FinTech

Location: New York City (Hybrid, 4 of 5 days in office).

Base Salary Range: $215K to $275K + Equity & Excellent Benefits

Role: Lead cutting-edge ML initiatives in Consumer Credit Risk, Pricing, and Engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models leveraging GCP (VertexAI, Dataflow) for credit risk, pricing, and customer engagement.
• Lead and mentor data scientists.
• Evaluate, monitor, and govern model performance, ensuring scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production.
• Develop data-driven credit risk strategies and conduct A/B testing.

Requirements:

• 7 years of Industry ML/Data Science, 1+ years with a direct report(s).
• Must have expertise in consumer credit risk modeling within lending.
• Experience with Google Cloud (VertexAI, Dataflow), AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and feature engineering.
