Job summary

Snap Inc is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join the Data Science and Insights team. You will act as SME for experimentation and causal inference, lead cross-functional projects, and build scalable data products for internal tooling.

You will translate complex statistics into strategic actions aligned with OKRs, guide senior stakeholders, and foster an inclusive, high-performance team environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of post-Bachelor's experience in quantitative analysis and/or data science.
• Masters or PhD with related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of Python or R and SQL
• Experience leading analytics projects and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Act as organization subject matter expert for experimentation and causal inference.
• Lead medium to large data science projects across multiple groups.
• Architect and maintain scalable data products for internal tooling.
• Translate statistical concepts into strategic business decisions.
• Drive analytics roadmaps and insights sharing across the company.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers.
