Job summary

Kikoff is hiring a data-focused product lead to partner with product, engineering, and marketing, shaping data strategy and AI-enabled decision making for core credit-building products.

You will define metrics, run experiments, and build robust data pipelines and models. This role sits in a fast-growing data team and collaborates across product, lifecycle marketing, and engineering to impact customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with product, engineering, and marketing peers across the full arc of the work: strategy, goal setting, approach, and execution.
• A track record of defining metrics from scratch and getting a team to run on them.
• Designed and ran experimentation programs, including quasi-experimental and causal inference methods.
• Hands-on with production-quality SQL and Python.
• Experience building or working closely with models that drive decisions in a product.
• AI tools are a core part of daily analytics and speed up delivery.
• Drive decisions with data in front of senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data work for a core Kikoff product area: define questions, build evidence, drive outcomes.
• Define and maintain the measurement system for the area across the customer journey and contribute to Kikoff-wide framework.
• Own product experimentation for your area, including rollouts and holdout considerations.
• For AI product surfaces, own evaluation and regression tests to ensure quality.
• Build and evaluate models where appropriate and monitor production lifecycle with engineering.
• Partner with cross-functional leads on roadmap and objectives.
• Mentor and onboard teammates as timing fits.
