Cohere is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive analytics across product, marketing and sales. You will own the full analytical lifecycle, designing experiments, building predictive models and guiding a team of analysts and data scientists.

This role requires leadership, deep statistical expertise, and a passion for AI-driven business insights. The position is hybrid with remote-friendly options and offices around the world.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to turn ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical problems with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytic lifecycle from framing questions to delivering actionable insights.
• Design and lead experimentation programs (A/B tests, causal studies) tied to product and GTM decisions.
• Build and deploy predictive models for forecasting, segmentation, propensity scoring, and opportunity sizing.
• Lead and grow a team of analysts and data scientists; set technical bar and mentor talent.
• Partner with product, research, sales and finance to align analytics with company strategy.
